Now, BJP MP Jaya Prada's statement has come on the same issue. She has said that Jaya Bachchan is trying to do politics in this case. She says, "I fully support Ravi Kishan's statement in this case in which he has appealed to save the youth from drug addiction. We should raise the voice against drugs and we should save our youth. I think Jaya Ji is doing politics in this case".
Jaya Bachchan said on the second day of the monsoon session of the Rajya Sabha: "Since some people have been named in the drugs angle, it does not mean that you are going to spoil the image of the entire industry. I am ashamed that a member of the film industry in the Lok Sabha yesterday spoke against the industry. It is shameful. The people of the industry are being targeted on social media". After Jaya Bachchan's statement, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut also gave her a befitting reply.
