Many big films has hit the theatre on December 21 which resulted in a massive clash at box-office.There were multiple releases in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil across India. These many release, Tamil audience had lot if options to pick their film for the weekend watch. Despite many release, Jayam Ravi-starrer Adanga Maru is ruling the box office in Chennai.
Directed by Karthik Thangavel, Adanga Maru has Jayam Ravi playing a cop and Raashi Khanna is seen romancing him.
Talking about the film released are Adanga Maru, Maari 2, Kanaa, Seethakaathi and KGF, all of them being big-ticket films. Among this, Adanga Maru is at the top position in Chennai this week at the box office, the second position has been bagged by the sports drama Kanaa starring Aishwarya Rajesh.
Rohit Shetty directed Simmba starring Ranveer Singh which has been having a terrific run at the box office across India is at third place. Dhanush-starrer massy entertainer Maari 2 stands fourth. Rajinikanth Akshay kumar starrer 2.0 stands at fifth position despite releasing almost a month back.
