NEW DELHI: In a thrilling match, the Jaipur Pink Panthers defeated the Bengal Warriors 27-25 in a close contest in the Pro Kabaddi League 2019, beating the lost game 27-25. The Bengal team was ahead for 38 minutes 30 seconds and was almost ready to win. But Jaipur's brilliant defense from Sandeep Dhul gave Bengal an all-out chance and then won the match by two points.

This is Jaipur's second consecutive win this season. She is now second in the points table with 10 points in two games. The Bengals are fifth with six points in two games. The Bengal Warriors were leading 14-10 in the first half of the match. However, failed to score in the last minute of the second half and suffered his first defeat in two games.

Jaipur Pink Panthers captain Deepak Hooda scored an impressive feat in the match. Deepak has completed 800 points in PKL history after finding the first point in the second half. He has become the third player to do so after Pradeep Narwal (882) and Rahul Chaudhary (895). In the last 30 seconds of the match, Jaipur took a huge lead by giving the Bengal team an all-out lead, which they have recorded in a thrilling win to the end.

For Jaipur, Sandeep Dhul scored eight points while Captain Deepak scored six points. The team got 12 from the Reds, 10 from tackles, two from all-out and three extra points. For Bengal, K Prapanjan scored seven points while Maninder Singh and Baldev Singh scored six points each. The team has scored 13 from the Reds, 11 from tackles and an extra point.
