Patna: Criminals openly shot JDU leader Dr Dharmendra Kumar in Patna leaving him badly injured. The bullet got stuck in his arm. He has been admitted to the hospital. The incident took place in Mitra Mandal Colony of Phulwarisharif. Dr Dharmendra had gone to see his land in the colony on Thursday morning. As a result, two bike borne criminals rushed there and opened fire. They ran towards their car to save their lives. As a result, a bullet hit him in the arm.

As soon as the same bullet hit, Dr Dharmendra fell to the ground and the accused fled waving guns. There was an uproar in the area after the incident. Police rushed to the spot as soon as the case was reported. Locals admitted him to Phulwarisharif CHC. Thereafter, he was referred to PMCH for better treatment. The police went to the hospital and inquired about the matter from the JDU leader. According to police, the land dispute is coming to light and CCTV footage is being scanned.

The same Dr. Dharmendra Kumar said that he has some land near Mitra Mandal Colony. They were having a quarrel with some people over it. He had gone to his in-laws Purnia on Chhath Puja. Meanwhile, locals erected a boundary wall on the disputed land. It was also handed over to the local police. When they approached here on Thursday, the already ambushed criminals opened fire.
