Patna: Allies are not shying away from eyeing the BJP over the UP elections. In Uttar Pradesh, while the resignation of all ministers and MLAs continues, bjp ally JDU in Bihar has also started showing their eyes. JDU has categorically stated that the BJP high command may announce seats at the earliest otherwise the party may contest separately from the alliance.

"We want the two parties to have an alliance and this has been discussed by Union Ministers RCP Singh with Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh and Dharmendra Pradhan," said KC Tyagi, Principal General Secretary and UP In-charge of the same JDU. I have also discussed with Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and a list of seats was sought from him which we have handed over. '

The same Tyagi categorically said, "Bjp should announce seats at the earliest otherwise JDU will contest alone. On how many seats JDU will contest, Kc Tyagi said, "Last time when we contested together, we fielded candidates in 22 seats, if we fought together this time, we will contest about 3 dozen seats. Let me tell you that the bugle of assembly elections has been sounded in five states including UP. Recently, the Election Commission had announced the entire schedule for the elections. In Uttar Pradesh, polling will be held in seven phases.
