Hajipur: Chirag Paswan himself is responsible for the rift in the Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJP) in Bihar. They themselves have set fire to their hut. This was stated by JDU state president Umesh Kushwaha. He had arrived on Thursday to console his family members after the death of a daily newspaper journalist.

JDU state president supports Pashupati: On the other hand, Umesh Kushwaha has supported Pashupati Paras for praising CM Nitish Kumar. He said nitish kumar is seen by people as vikas purush. On a question whether chirag paswan, who described Modi's Hanuman as Modi's Hanuman in the NDA alliance, or Pashupati Paras, Umesh Kushwaha has remained silent on it. He said that it was inside the LJP.

It has been learnt that Chirag Paswan, who called himself Modi's Hanuman in the Bihar Assembly 2020 elections, had caused a lot of damage to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar by parting ways with the NDA alliance and fielding his candidate against JDU. There is now talk that Modi's Hanuman Chirag Paswan has been replaced by JDU and has broken Chirag Paswan's party (LJP).

Pashupati elected national president after pull out: However Pashupati Paras has taken over as the party's national president along with five MPs. Pashupati Paras was elected as the national president of the party by his faction in Patna on Thursday amid the ongoing tussle in LJP. Pashupati Paras is set to claim power over the party in the Election Commission in Delhi on Friday.
