Tamannaah Bhatia is the most recent actor to make her OTT debut. She has released the first trailer for her next web series, 'Jee Karda'. It follows seven childhood friends, two of whom decide to marry following a drunken proposal. But as the wedding festivities begin, they realize they made a mistake. One of the key performers and Tamannaah's true love interest is Aashim Gulati of Taj fame.

The teaser starts with a sight of seven best friends who have been together since they were children. One of them (Suhail Nayyar) proposes to Tamannaah's Lavanya at a party, and she accepts. However, Aashim Gulati questions a doubtful Suhail about the idea. They proceed with the wedding plans because they have completed everything from 'vacation to abortion'. They gradually realize, however, that they are not in love. In one scenario, Aashim tells Tamannaah that she makes decisions based on fear, whereas he makes decisions based on his own choice. While Aashim admits his feelings for Tamannaah, she says that he should have done so sooner.

Tamannaah earlier shared a promotional video in which Suhail Nayyar was introduced as the "boy next door" and Aashim was portrayed as a rockstar. Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Samvedna Suwalka, Sayaan, and Arunima Sharma also appear in the show. With teaser, Tamannaah wrote, “Gen-z peeps, watch and don’t learn.” Actor Kajal Aggarwal commented on her post, “Looks such fun ! can’t wait to watch.”

Tamannaah will also appear in Rajinikanth's Jailer, in addition to Jee Karda. She has plenty of other projects in the works. Aashim is now riding high on the success of Taj: Reign of Revenge, the next chapter of which will be launched on ZEE5 on June 2nd. In the show, he plays the lead character Salim (Jehangir).
