JEE Main 2020 exam will be held by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Through JEE Main, candidates will get admission into NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and other engineering institutes through Central Seat Allocation Board. It will be conducted twice times in a year i.e. in the month of January & April 2020 respectively. It is a national level entrance exam. The admission through JEE Main will be offered into B.E, B.Tech, B.Plan, and B.Arch. programmes. The examination will be held for 2 papers as paper 1 for B.Tech & paper 2 for B.Arch. Admission.

Registration Process

JEE Main 2020 application form for the first session will be made available on 2nd September 2019 & for the second session from the second week of February 2020. The form will get commenced through online mode. After filling all the asked details, candidates will have to submit the application fee. Both online, as well as offline mode, will be available to submit the application fee. The application fee will be different as per the paper and candidates category.

Admit Card

JEE Main 2020 admit card will be available through online mode. Candidates will have to login by entering their application number & password to download their admit card. Candidates are advised to bring admit card with one valid ID proof at the examination centre. Without these items, candidates will not be permitted to write for the exam.

Exam Pattern details

JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 exam will be held in online (computer-based) mode whereas drawing test in paper 2 will be in offline (Pen-paper based) mode. The question paper of paper 1 will consist of 90 questions whereas 82 questions will be asked in paper 2. No age limit & not attempt limit will be applicable for JEE Main.

JEE Main 2020 Result & Scorecard

The result for JEE Main 2020 will get announced through online mode. It will declare tentatively in the last week of January 2020 and in the last week of April 2020 for January & April session respectively. The scorecard will consist of various details such as roll number, parent's name, marks obtained, rank and much more.

Admission Process

JEE Main 2020 Counselling will be organized by JoSSA. The counselling procedure will be held through online mode. It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling session for further admission and another process. Candidates will also have to verify their documents during the counselling procedure.
