Kolkata: The dates of West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam have been announced. The examination will be conducted offline for the first time in the state following the guidelines of the corona epidemic. According to the notice issued, this year the exam will begin from July 17. The results of the examination will be released by August 14. Candidates can visit the website wbjeeb.nic.in and view the full details of the examination.

According to the old schedule, the exam (WBJEE Exam 2021) was scheduled to be held on July 11, 2021, but was postponed due to corona virus. This year combined will include a total of 92,695 candidates for medical and engineering examinations. The examination will be conducted at 274 examination centres. Last year WBJEE exam was held on February 2 and the results were declared in August. A total of 73,119 candidates appeared, out of which about 99 per cent had qualified in the entrance exam.

Announcing the exam dates, the board said the counselling process will be conducted in three phases and will be completed before September 15. The board also said that there will be no change in the exam time table.
