Fiat Krasnler Automobile (FCA) entered India with the launch of its Grand Cherokee and Wrangler SUV, which has a high price. Both of these models gave the FCA a chance to make a premium brand image of the company. However, this could not change in large sales.

But it seems that now everything has changed with the Jeep compass. The FCA had launched this car in 14.95 lakhs according to the ex-showroom price.

The price of this SUV was such that rivalry with the people has also become a surprise. According to a report from the Economics Times, Jeep Compass has received 8,100 units of bookings in India.

It has been produced at Ranjgaon on the outskirts of Pune. This plant is manufacturing the SUV according to the demand of the vehicle.

The FCA has received 8,171 orders for Jeep Compass, which is worth Rs 1,570 crore ($ 245 million). The company has invested $ 280 million in this facility and it is a matter of time before reaching the FCA breakpoint.

According to the report, the FCA is working towards 25 percent more productive. It is producing 90 units of Jeep Compass in one day and wants to increase to 110 per day to meet the rising demand for SUVs.
