Jeep India launched the locally-assembled 2021 Jeep Wrangler on March 17. Jeep Wrangler is launched at a starting price of Rs 53.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings for the SUV, which is being produced at the automaker's joint venture manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon, had opened in February 2021.
For your information let us share that at the heart of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler is a 2.0-litre, in-line 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that churns out 268hp of maximum power and 400Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The powertrain is based on the FCA Group's global medium engine platform. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler is being offered in Unlimited and Rubicon variants. However, the prices of the locally-assembled Wrangler are substantially lower than that of the outgoing model, which was available in India in the completely built-up form only.
