Alex Trebek's demise has left his fans grieving. The host of the famous game show left us early this month and now it's difficult to say who will be the best to host Jeopardy. In a report, it's said that one of the winners and brilliant player Ken Jennings ever will take over as the game show's host.
The resume of the show is scheduled for 30th November where Ken will be the interim host of the associated series. He'll be the first in a series of guest hosts since the death of Alex Trebek on November 8. The show is yet not disclosing the name of a full-time host for the time being and the other guest hosts will be announced soon in the coming weeks. Through the THR, the executive producer of the show, Mike Richards said that "Alex believed in the importance of Jeopardy! and always said that he wanted the show to go on after him. We will honor Alex's legacy by continuing to produce the game he loved with smart contestants and challenging clues. By bringing in familiar guest hosts for the foreseeable future, our goal is to create a sense of community and continuity for our viewers." The primetime winner Jennings won Jeopardy. The Greatest of All Time tournament earlier this year, defeating James Holzhauer and Brad Rutter in the best-of-seven format. Trebek's last episodes of the show were taped on October 29 and will air the week of January 4.
In the meantime, Jennings will also be part of ABC's primetime game show The Chase, which premieres on January 7. Along with Holzhauer and Rutter, he'll square off against teams of trivia experts in the new series.
