With the construction of airports, preparations have been made for setting up industries. More than 100 textile units have talked to the Yamuna Authority about the land to set up their industries here.

10,000 crores can be invested and there is talk of applying land for the industries. There are also reports that work on the film city is going on at a rapid pace. In fact, the film city near the airport will make it easier for artists and people from the world of film/television to come here. It is learnt that online applications have been invited for the proposed Rs 10,000 crore scheme. The film city will be built in about 1000 acres and a university is also planned to be opened in the film city. About 69 firms of Jewar Airport are said to have been given 146 hectares of industrial land.

All these lands were allotted in May, June and July. This will directly create employment opportunities for 86,000 people. The MRO Centre at Jewar Airport will be built on about 1200 hectares of land and in the second phase it will be completed by 2032, at a cost of Rs 2800 crore. In addition, it is being said that one lakh people will get employment opportunities as soon as the airport is commissioned in the first phase. If it is commissioned at full capacity in the year 2050, the employment opportunities will be more than ten times.
