The counting of votes for the 2024 Jharkhand Assembly Elections, which consist of 81 seats, is set to take place on November 23. The polling for the second phase of the elections began today at 7 AM, covering 38 seats. The first phase, which included elections for 43 seats, was held on November 13.
According to the latest data, Jharkhand has a total of 2,60,87,698 registered voters. Among these, 2,60,43,703 are General Electors, while 43,995 are classified as Service Voters. The recent electoral roll also highlights that 11,84,150 young voters enrolled this year, having reached the eligible age of 18 between January 1 and July 1, 2024.
The vote counting is expected to commence at 8 AM on November 23. In preparation, strict security measures will be enforced, including a strong presence of Jharkhand police along with units of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPFs) to ensure a peaceful counting process.
