Ranchi: Results of polling in 81 seats of Jharkhand assembly are coming. The counting of votes continues and the JMM-Congress alliance seems to get a clear majority in the trends. The ruling BJP is seen shrinking to less than 30 seats. With whom small parties like AJSU-JVM will go, it will be interesting to see, but with the trends, Hemant Soren's becoming CM is almost certain. While it looks like Raghuvar Das's farewell. Voting was held in 5 phases in Jharkhand from 30 November to 20 December.

In the trends so far, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is emerging as the most party in the state. JMM alone seems to get 28 seats, while BJP is in second place with 26 seats. The JMM-Congress and RJD alliance has an edge over 44 seats and it is almost certain to form a coalition government in the state. In AJSU's account, 4 and JVM have gained the lead in 3 seats.

Others are also gaining on 4 seats. JMM leader Hemant Soren is almost certain to become CM and BJP's Raghuvar Das is seen going to power. Soren of JMM is trailing from Dumka's seat, although he is leading from Barhait seat. On the other hand, CM Raghuvar Das is trailing behind Jamshedpur East seat and he has been troubled by BJP rebel Sarayu Rai. Rai is contesting as an independent candidate. AJSU's Sudesh Mahato is leading from Silli's seat.
