Ranchi: After Karnataka, the discussion of banning Hinduist organization Bajrang Dal has started in Jharkhand as well. State Congress MLA Irfan Ansari has demanded to ban Bajrang Dal, calling it a 'murderer'. Along with this, Irfan Ansari has said about the film 'The Kerala Story' that if this film is shown in any cinema hall, he will vandalize it there.
According to the report, Congress MLA from Jamtara Irfan Ansari said, 'What is Bajrang Dal for which there is hue and cry? There will be a ban on this. Will not let you take the law in your hands. In the guise of Bajrang Dal, these people are doing wrong things, they beat people. Bajrang Dal has taken the life of our Ansari brother. Will you leave? Mob lynching is the gift of Bajrang Dal. These people are still roaming freely. It is our government that the murderers will not go unpunished at any cost.' Irfan further said, 'What do these people want to show? This country is ours, it is not the fiefdom of anyone's father. If we were ministers, we would have banned it today itself. Many Bajrang Dal members are murderers, goons, all are imprisoned in jail. I urge the Chief Minister (Hemant Soren) that Bajrang Dal should be banned in Jharkhand as well.

Irrfan further said, 'The Kerala Story is a film of shamelessness, nonsense, breaking religion and humiliating people. This movie is absolutely flop. We feel that by fooling the public, by sowing seeds of hatred among the public, the director only wants the goods to come. Who is this director, where is the director, how was the film made? Irfan said that even children watch films. What do you want to put in their mind? Where are we going?
BJP leader and Godda MP Nishikant Dubey has retaliated on this statement given by Irfan regarding the film The Kerala Story based on the true incidents of Jihad, conversion and terrorism released in Kerala. He tweeted that, 'CM Hemant Soren ji had banned Irfan Ansari from entering Jharkhand. Perhaps in this anger, he is giving weird statement. Consider the MLA's words as milk and rice, that is, do not take them seriously. Let us tell you that in Tamil Nadu too, the film's release has been stopped after protests by political parties. Whereas, the Madras High Court, while giving green signal to this film, has said that this film is not against Islam, but against the terrorist organization ISIS. The court also emphasized that Hindu ascetics have been shown as rapists and smugglers in many films, but there was no uproar, so there is no justification for stopping this film.
