Hazaribagh: A six-year-old son, and his parents was tragically killed in a room fire in Lohar Toli Street under Lohsingna police station area of Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand on Wednesday night. The couple's two daughters slept in another room, they somehow managed to survive. The door of the couple's room was locked from outside and an electric wire was also wrapped on it. It is feared that all three have lost their lives due to electrocution or suffocation.

Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and seized the bodies and sent them for postmortem. Police are investigating the case. The deceased couple has been identified as LIC agent Munna Vishwakarma, wife Sonam Devi and son 6-year-old Ayush. The two girls woke up to bhoomi and kanak when they suddenly saw smoke coming out of the room at 2 pm on Wednesday night. People in the vicinity informed about the incident. People rushed to the spot and informed the police.

The police then opened the room and found the bodies of the trio lying in the room. The door of the room where the couple and the child slept was locked from outside. An electric wire was also tied in the latch. It is suspected that all three may have died due to electrocution. All three have been badly burnt bodies only. The curtain inside the door had been burnt.
