Jharkhand: Former Loksabha MP AK Roy passes away

Dhanbad: Former MP AK Roy has passed away in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. he was 84 years old and had been ill for quite a long time. Labour leader and former Union Minister A K Rai breathed his last at the Central Hospital.  Jharkhand CM Raghuwar Das has condoled the death of AK Roy.

Chief Minister Raghubar Das has condoled the death of AK Roy and said that the death of AK Roy is an irreparable loss to Jharkhand. It may be mentioned that Ak Roy was born on 15th June 1935. Ak Rai's funeral will be performed by his family on Monday. A wave of mourning has been reported in the coal-fired city of AK Rai. The city's Mayor Shekhar Agarwal, MLA Arup Chatterjee, Raj Sinha, Jagnath Mahato, former minister Jaleshwar Mahato, Mathura Mahato had arrived to pay homage to AK Roy.

Apart from the above leaders, all the party leaders rushed to the Central Hospital to make the final vision of AK Rai.  On the other hand, CHIEF Raghubar Das has directed A Roy to hold a state funeral with state honours. On Monday, A.K. Rai's funeral will be held with full state honours.
