Ranchi: The Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has now decided to take action on complaints of disturbances in the construction of the building of the Assembly and the High Court in Jharkhand. The Jharkhand government has issued orders to conduct an inquiry into the matter. On behalf of the Jharkhand government, an order has been issued to conduct an inquiry into the irregularities in the construction of the building of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly and the High Court through a judicial commission.
The Hemant Soren government on Tuesday issued an order that the investigation into the disturbances during the construction of the Jharkhand Assembly and the Jharkhand High Court building would be done by a judicial commission. More than Rs 400 crore was spent in the construction of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. Its false ceiling had fallen once and there was a fire.
Let us inform that the cost of construction of the new building of the Legislative Assembly was reduced from Rs 465 crores to 323.03 crores initially. Later, citing architectural defects, the area was changed and the tender was done again. The responsibility of construction of this building was again given to Ramkripal Construction Company. Due to this, the cost of construction had increased by Rs 136 crore.
