Ranchi: Even in the age of science and technology, blind faith is intact. In Jharkhand, an incident of misbehaviour with a woman in Katkamsandi block of Hazaribagh district has come to light after she was described as a witch. In this modern age, while digital India is being talked about, science and technology have grown so much, some people are treating women badly by calling them witches.

A similar incident of shame to humanity has come to light from Hazaribagh, where a woman was called a witch and first assaulted by people and then people has snatched money from her. A video of the incident was made and posted on social media by someone, which is going viral. The victim alleged that she was beaten up so much by the people that she started bleeding from her head. She has also alleged that Rs 1200 was snatched.

After all this, the crowd ordered to do 100 sit-ups and posted the entire matter on social media. The victim has reached Bada police station after the video of the incident went viral and registered a case against the culprits. The victim has also demanded compensation. In this regard, chief Minhaj Ansari said that the victim's son used to work as a khalasi. There was an argument between them over the money, after which the woman was abused. Police are investigating the case.
