Koderma: Her nephew was raping a woman in Degodih village, which falls under Marrakech block of Koderma district of Jharkhand. But after complaining about the case, the local women's panchayat stripped off and cut her hair. However, the victim has complained to the police station and sought justice.
The victim believed that her nephew had been raping her continuously in the absence of her husband for the past three months, and when she told the people, she was stripped of all the charges and was stripped of her hair in the panchayat and she was punished. At present, the victim and her entire family are in shock after the Panchayat's tug-of-it-out order and sentencing. The day before the victim was sentenced in a full panchayat of women, her husband had returned home and did not know anything about the incident.
Though his wife was being taken away from the house in the alleged panchayat of women, she tried to stop, but there was no one to listen to her. Giving details of the case, Koderma SC M Tamil Vanan said that a case has been registered against 11 persons and SDPO has been ordered for SuperVision for the case. The woman's inhuman treatment has also surprised Panchayat chief Rajiv Pandey.
