Threat of cyclone hovered over Jharkhand, difficulties may increase

Ranchi: Another cyclonic storm is looming large over Jharkhand. The change in weather conditions in the Bay of Bengal has created a cyclone friendly atmosphere. Weather experts have predicted that it will be converted into low pressure by Wednesday. According to the MET department, a cyclonic circulation has been formed in the South-East Bay of Bengal, which is expected to be converted into a low-pressure area. The impact can be seen at a large level in coastal areas as well as in Jharkhand.

However, the MET department has not issued a warning of rain or storm in the state at present. Scientists at Ranchi Meteorological Centre said that inputs received from doppler radar have revealed the formation of cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal. Experts say it will turn into a low-pressure area on Wednesday afternoon or by evening. According to media reports, the Regional Meteorological Centre at Alipur (Kolkata) has expressed similar apprehensions. Satellite photos have revealed a cyclone-friendly atmosphere in the southeast Bay of Bengal.

In Jharkhand, the fog continued throughout the day on Tuesday in the capital Ranchi, Jamshedpur and adjoining areas. The sky was also cloudy. Weather experts said the change was due to seasonal changes in the Bay of Bengal. There was blinking between the clouds and the sun throughout the day on Tuesday. On the other hand, the update released by Ranchi Meteorological Centre on Tuesday afternoon has said that there will be no significant change in temperature in all parts of Jharkhand for the next 72 hours.
