Jaipur: In the district of Jaipur, the Jharkhand Mahadev Temple has implemented a new dress code for devotees. They kindly request that visitors refrain from wearing torn jeans, shorts, frocks, nightwear, and mini-skirts. The temple administration has issued a notice stating that only modest and formal attire should be worn by devotees.

The notice explicitly prohibits entry to the temple for individuals wearing half-pants, Bermuda shorts, mini-skirts, nightwear, ripped jeans, or frocks.

Furthermore, the notice emphasizes the importance of upholding Indian culture and traditions among the devotees.

This decision has been well-received by the devotees, with one individual expressing their support, stating, "It is a commendable decision that will further promote our cherished Sanatan culture. It would be wonderful if other temples followed suit."

In a similar vein, the administration of Jammu's 'Bawe Wali Mata' temple in Jammu and Kashmir has also appealed to devotees to cover their heads and avoid wearing shorts or capri pants within the temple premises. Mahant Bitta stated, "We kindly request visitors to refrain from wearing shorts, and we are pleased with the positive response. Devotees are encouraged to dress modestly and cover their heads while inside the temple."
