Jharkhand police' major breakthrough, three members of bike thief gang arrested, 3 bikes recovered

Bokaro: Police spotted three men on a bike in a suspicious condition at around 4:00 pm during routine patrolling near Jain Hospital in Harla police station area Sector 8, which falls under Bokaro in Jharkhand, and arrested the trio. The interrogation then revealed that the three had stolen a bike and they were absconding.

The police then took the thieves to the station and in the interrogation, the thieves confessed to stealing three more bikes.  Harla Thana Incharge Jai Govind Gupta informed that the three have already gone to jail for bike theft and are professional bike thieves named Prem Turi and Seema Turi, both are residents of Ranipuddle. The third is Ajay Turi, a permanent resident of Pendrajora.

Station Incharge said that there has been a significant increase in the incident of bike theft in Harla police station area within the last 1 month, which the Superintendent of Police has directed to constitute a team taking cognizance. This was followed by the team formed on Wednesday.
