Ranchi: Police have arrested two miscreants who were roaming around with illegal weapons for the purpose of looting in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The case is from the Kenduadih area of the district. The police have recovered two country-made pistols and two live cartridges from their possession. According to the information given by the police, cases are already registered against the two arrested criminals in two different police stations.

Police have said that both of them are habitual criminals and have been jailed in the past. Dhanbad DSP (Law and Order) Arvind Kumar Binha said that SSP Sanjeev Kumar received intelligence that two criminals were roaming near the 14 coal dump located at Godhar in Kenduadih police station area with the intention of committing a crime. After which, Dhanbad SSP immediately informed the Kenduadih police station.

As soon as the information was received, Kenduadih police station in-charge Surendra Kumar Sinha reached the spot along with force. On seeing the police coming there, the two miscreants tried to escape from the spot. After which the police caught both criminals. At present, the police are interrogating both the accused and investigating their old records.
