Ranchi: A big disclosure has been made in the liquor case seized from Khadgadha bus station on the evening of 31 January in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Actually, before Holi there was an attempt to transport liquor in a big way. The revelation came when bottles of liquor concealed in tomatoes from the Khadgadha bus station were seized while transporting the bus to Bihar. Speaking to the media, in-charge of Khadgadha ToP said that on the basis of secret information, they raided and recovered several thousand bottles.
These bottles were being concealed in the middle of a sack of tomatoes and transported to Bihar, so that before Holi, liquor is stocked in Bihar and then liquor can be sold in an alcoholic state at an arbitrary price. The police have busted the smugglers from Birsa Munda from the stand and at the same time the bus agent and manager have been advised not to load any goods without checking the goods and without documentation and this is the result of the recent past. During the days, liquor was seized from a sack of tomatoes.
However, the conspiracy of liquor smuggling by the liquor smugglers has been foiled by the police, but in the coming days, with the increasing demand of alcohol enthusiasts for Holi, now it will be a big challenge for the police to curb this smuggling even further.
