Dhanbad: An example of how the criminals have started getting stronger in Jharkhand is found in Dhanbad. Late Wednesday night, robbers committed robbery by beating with renowned orthopedic specialist Dr. Kailash Prasad of Dhanbad. The incident is being reported near Memco Mor Water Treatment Plant Road in Barwa Adda police station area.

It is being told that while carrying out the robbery, the robbers severely beat the doctor and broke his jaw. The incident occurred at 12.30 pm when Dr. Kailash Prasad was returning home after attending a wedding function with his family at a hotel in Kowabandh, Govindpur. The criminals had dropped a tree on the road, due to which the doctor had to stop his car.

During the robbery, the criminals beat him and the driver. The robbers also threatened to kill the children and looted all the jewels of the doctor's wife and daughter-in-law. The value of the jewelery that has been robbed is said to be around five lakh rupees. On receiving information about the incident, Barwadda police reached the spot and admitted the injured doctor to Jalan Hospital for treatment.
