The same incident is said to have taken place at the Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) at Kanke in Ranchi. In CIP premises, miscreants shot dead Kamlesh Kumar, a security guard of a private company. The incident occurred around 10 pm on Thursday when a security guard was shot dead in the CIP premises.
The same Kamlesh Kumar was a resident of the Rohtas district of Bihar. According to reports, the man was on duty outside the social unit at CIP on Thursday night. Kamlesh was shot dead by the criminals late in the night. Passersby spotted the security guard of a private company posted in CIP lying on the side of the road. Passersby reported the matter to another guard after which the news spread like a forest fire. Police, who reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, seized the body of the deceased and sent it for postmortem.
