After the arrival of Jio in India, there was a price war between telecom companies. Now a new twist has been reached. About three years ago, Reliance Jio, a company that ventured into the Indian telecom sector, has accused Airtel, Vodafone Idea and BSNL of cheating. According to media reports, Jio has complained to TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) about all these rival telecom companies. Jio told TRAI that all these telecom companies have wrongly described their landline number as mobile number and collected revenue by charging an Interconnect Charge (IUC) from it. Airtel termed Jio's allegation as baseless and said that the company is trying to mislead the Telecom Authority.

BSNL: Big shock to customers, company stopped this service

According to the media report, Jio has handed over a letter of violation of Interconnect Charge Rules against Public Sector Company BSNL to Airtel and Vodafone Idea besides TRAI Chairman RS Sharma. The company has incurred a loss of crores of rupees due to the wrong interconnect charge of these companies. Jio has also requested the authority to pay a refund for this wrong charge. In Jio's complaint, it has been said that Airtel, Vodafone Idea and BSNL have charged this charge through the virtual mobile number used for customer care service.

Know what is the IUC charge

According to Jio's complaint, in this case, these telecom companies have collected interconnect charge for millions of minutes of calls originating from the Jio network. Let us tell you that on October 9 last week, Jio has asked its users to charge an interconnect usage charge at the rate of 6 paise per minute. Since then, telecom companies other than Jio users have made fun of Jio on social media. After this, Jio also retaliated and issued memes against these companies on social media.

Vodafone: The company took advantage of the opportunity, this plan will give you 3GB data instead of 1.5GB
