Like Airtel and Vodafone-idea, Reliance Jio's mobile recharge has become costlier. According to reports, Reliance Jio, the country's largest private mobile service provider, has increased its tariff by 21 per cent. The new rates of recharge plans are scheduled to come into effect from December 1. Recently, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone-idea have also raised tariff rates. With this increase, there was speculation that Reliance Jio was going to take such a step. It has been observed that when a service provider company increases the tariff rate, other companies will also start moving forward on the same step. So JIO has also joined this race for a rate hike. First AIRTEL and then Vodafone-idea increased the value of the tariff plan.

How high the price: With this, different plans of JIO have increased from Rs. 31 to Rs. 480. The new price of the old Rs 75 plan, specially brought for JIOPHONE, will now be Rs 91. The Rs 129 tariff plan for unlimited plans will now be offered for Rs 155. Apparently, the rates have gone up the most in a 1-year validity plan. Earlier the plan used to be available for Rs 2399 but now the customer can have the post to spend Rs 2879 for it.

Data add-on plans are also expensive: Reliance JIO's data add-on plans rate has also increased. The rs 51 plan for 6GB is now going to take Rs 61 and the add-on plan with a 12GB of Rs 101 will take Rs 121. The biggest 50GB plan has now become rs 50 expensive to Rs 301.
