Patna: Former Bihar CM and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) supremo Jitan Ram Manjhi on Monday expressed disappointment over the issue of seat sharing in MLC elections with alliance partners BJP and JD(U). He is disappointing for the Hindustani Awam Morcha. Hindustani Awam Morcha and Mukesh Sahani's VIP are coalition partners in the current NDA government in Bihar. It's very unfortunate that they didn't invite us to the meeting.'

"Whatever decision was taken in the meeting, it would have been taken in the presence of all the coalition partners, it would have been satisfactory for us. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I'm in pain because they haven't invited us. As far as hindustani awam morcha is concerned, hindustani awam morcha may not demand any seat.' Earlier on Sunday, VIP chief Mukesh Sahani announced that his party will contest all the 24 seats of the MLC elections under the local body as the BJP and the JD(U) have not given him any seat.

At the same time, Sahani also alleged that the BJP stabbed him in the back. The seat-sharing between the BJP and the JD(U) took place on Saturday, with the BJP getting 13 and the JD(U) 11. The BJP has given one seat to the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party from its own quota. Earlier, announcing the seat sharing at a joint press conference of the BJP and the JD(U) in Patna, senior BJP leader and Union Minister Bhupender Yadav on Saturday said that the BJP's share has come to 13 seats in the 24-odd assembly elections of the local body quota. He said that out of these, the BJP will contest on 12 seats, while one seat has been given to the ally Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party. He also said that 11 seats have been given to the JD(U).
