A notification has been issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board to fill up the vacant posts in the animal/ship husbandry and fishery department. As per the notification issued, a total of 329 posts will be filled up.

Educational Qualification:-
Junior Assistant, Department of General Administration- Candidates applying for the post have knowledge of typewriting with graduation from any recognized university with no speed of fewer than 35 words per minute.
Veterinary Pharmacist- There should be matriculation with science for this.
Electrician- ITI trend candidates are eligible to apply in electrician trade having fixed licenses.
Junior Stenographer- Graduation-type writing from a recognized university should have a minimum speed of 65 words per minute and shorthand should have a speed of 35 words per minute respectively.
Junior Grader- For this, candidates need to have matriculation with science.
PBX Operator- Matriculation/H.S. There should be a training certificate in line with a recognized institution.
Age Limit:-
The age limit for applying for these posts issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board has been fixed at 40 years. The upper age limit for reserved categories has been relaxed.

The applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 350.
Selection Process:
JKSSB will select candidates on the basis of a competitive written test which will include objective type, multiple-choice questions. Skill tests for these posts will also be conducted.
