JNU Sedition case: Meet who is a danger to “Mother Land”

India’s  prestigious education  hub  JNU  is in controversy now. Kanhaiya Kumar who is the union president of JNU arrested for the sedition charge.  

In the thatched  home in Bihat village in Bihar’s  Begusarai  district, the home of arrested JNU student Kanhaiya Kumar, Kanhaiya’s  family are shocked by the sedition charge slapped on their son. They defend that he can never be a danger to the mother land as he is being called a danger for the Nation. Kumar’s parents who appeared to be struggling on Saturday to come to term with the arrest of their son on Friday from Jawahar lal Nehru University of  New Delhi.

A 65 year old circumscribed man who is paralyzed   from  left side of his body  since 2013  Jaishankar  Singh said  “I could study only up to Class X but I ensured  my children received good education. Education is the biggest capital for poor people like us. No video or audio footage has shown my son saying anything anti-national. He has been framed.’’

Kanhaiya’s mother Meena Devi who is also an anganwadi worker earn 3000 a month and support her family showed a brave face and said “This phase will pass… Nothing shall happen to my son because he can never say or do anything against the country… There is a court. I have full faith in my son and God.” Also Kumar’s parents thinks  that his son is in trouble because he had campaigned for the CPI candidate during the Bihar polls last year.

The NDA found nothing anti-national in Nathuram Godse’s supporters, but arrested Kanhaiya for saying nothing- said AIYF leader Prahlad Singh. Also AISF leader Ramkrishna claims that kanhaiya become a pawn in the battle between left and other.’’

All India Youth Federation and All India Student Federation of Begusarai unit protested against Union Minister Rajnath Singh and Smriti Irani on last Saturday.
