Los Angeles: Actor Jonathan Majors and actress Meagan Good are officially engaged. The couple shared the exciting news on the red carpet at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles on November 17. Good proudly displayed her stunning diamond ring as they celebrated this new chapter in their lives.
Reflecting on their first meeting, Good, 43, revealed that it happened two years ago at the very same event. "EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms," she said.
The couple began dating in May 2023, just two months after Majors, 35, faced legal troubles related to an alleged domestic incident with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. Majors, who has always denied the allegations, was convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment in December. He was later sentenced to attend a 52-week in-person counseling program and fined in April.
Throughout his legal battles, Good stood by his side, offering support during several court appearances in New York City.
In past interviews, Good has shared her admiration for Majors, particularly his sense of style. "I love his style," she said. "I just love how he puts it together."
She also spoke openly about her relationship with him, emphasizing that while she values others' opinions, the ultimate responsibility for her choices lies with her. "I'm the one who has to live my life," she said. "I want to be responsible for the choices that I make."
Describing their relationship, Good expressed gratitude for the mutual support, love, and care they share. "The support we've been able to give to each other, the pouring into each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care, and the thoughtfulness," she said, "it's been really wonderful."
