On the other hand, JDU supremo Nitish Kumar and RJD supremo Lalu Yadav's son Tejashwi Yadav were forming the government together, while a journalist was killed in broad daylight in Bihar. The incident took place near Gopalamaran village under Simultala police station in Jamui district of Bihar. Here the miscreants shot and killed the journalist of Dainik Prabhat Khabar in broad daylight. The miscreants fired five bullets, which hit the journalist in the chest and head and died on the spot.

According to the report, the journalist who was shot by bike-borne miscreants is Gokul Yadav. Gokul Yadav is 35 years old and was a resident of Lilavaran village in the Simultala area. It is being said that Gokul left home for Simultala at around 11 am to bring medicines to put in the crop. Due to this, five miscreants on two bikes started firing about one kilometre away from the house. The journalist died on the spot in this attack by miscreants already ambushed.

The same murder is said to be a rivalry over panchayat elections. Gokul Yadav's wife had contested for the post of mukhiya from Khuranda panchayat in the panchayat elections this time, but could not win. It is being told that some people of the village had also assaulted Yadav recently for contesting elections. A case was also registered on both sides in the police station. According to Nagendra Yadav, father of the deceased, the murder was carried out due to panchayat elections. The same people who had assaulted it in the past have killed it. On the basis of the complaint received from the family members, the police have registered a case and arrested two people in the case. Last time too, when Nitish Kumar formed the government with the RJD, Siwan-based journalist Rajdeo Ranjan was killed. In this murder case, the name of RJD strongman Mohammad Shahabuddin came up from Siwan. Nitish Kumar was very embarrassed by this incident. Rajdeo Ranjan's wife Asha had expressed disbelief in Nitish Kumar's police and demanded a CBI probe. After that, Nitish Kumar got rid of his neck and handed over the case to the CBI. This matter is still pending in court.
