Ayodhya: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president J.P. Nadda and chief ministers of BJP-ruled states were accorded a warm welcome when they reached Ayodhya on Wednesday afternoon.

The BJP president and chief ministers of Madhya Pradesh's Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Goa's Pramod Sawant, Assam's Himanta Biswa Sarma, Haryana's Manohar Lal Khattar, Tripura's Biplab Deb, Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi, Arunachal Pradesh's Pema Khandu, and Manipur's N. Biren Singh attended the 'aarti' Keshav Maurya, the deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Dinesh Sharma were also there.

Due to an engagement, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami returned to his native state. This is the first time in Ayodhya that so many chief ministers have gathered at the same time. The group then proceeded to Hanuman Garhi, where they gave Lord Hanuman prayers. They next travelled to the Ram Janambhoomi temple, where they viewed the construction site.

The chief ministers praised the Yogi Adityanath government's development work in Ayodhya, calling the trip "spiritually invigorating."

Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the Chief Minister of MP, said: "It's a blessing to be able to see Ram Lalla once more. We have the opportunity to visit here for the first time since the building (of Ram Temple) began. We'll say a prayer for everyone's health. Under PM Modi's leadership, a flourishing India is being developed." Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam, said: "We were able to see Ram Lalla. I consider myself fortunate... Hinduism is more than a philosophy; it is a way of life for us. So, what's on the horizon? We belong to the Hindu faith."

Today Nadda will be in Ayodhya, the city of Shri Ram, CMs of many BJP ruled states will be present together.
