JP Nadda reaches Himachal Pradeshon four-day visit

NEW DELHI: BJP President J.P. Nadda arrived in his home state of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday for a four-day visit, during which he will take part in a various programmes and hold organisational meetings in preparation for the next elections.

At the BJP's parliamentary party meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked all leaders to visit their home states and engage with the general public.

With the Himachal polls in mind, Nadda would try to understand the mood of the people and get feedback on the government's welfare programmes after the party's historic victory in Assembly elections in four states.

Nadda will also solicit comments from the party's state unit before convening a conference with the saffron party's top leadership in the national capital, based on which the saffron party will devise a strategy for the state's elections.

Nadda's tour will begin on Saturday with a grand roadshow from Shimla's Vidhan Sabha Chowk to Peterhof. At approximately 11.10 a.m., he will address a public meeting. Nadda will address a news conference in Shimla on Sunday and a booth meeting in Daseran on Monday. In Tutu, Darlaghat, Namhol, Bandla, Kothi, Chauk, and Ghumani, he will meet with party members. The BJP president will meet with party workers in Mandir Shed, Salnoo, Mandrighat, Majhwar, Harlog, Hawan Panchayat Ghar, Talyana, Kuthera, and Morsinghi on April 11.

Nadda would visit AIIMS in Kothipura the next day to view the work that is being done there.In Jhandutta, Kandaur, Ghagas, and Raghunath Pura, Nadda will meet with party workers.
