New Delhi: BJP President JP Nadda will meet new ministers at the party headquarters after PM Narendra Modi's cabinet expansion. After the expansion and reshuffle of the Cabinet, the focus of the Government will now be on the work. JP Nadda met three ministers Bhupendra Yadav, Annapurna Devi, and Visveswar Tudu who joined the Modi cabinet at home. The party president had called these leaders over tea and the meeting is over. JP Nadda will meet all other ministers at the BJP headquarters.

With the cabinet reshuffle, PM Narendra Modi has come into action and will hold a hectic meeting with ministers today. The Union Cabinet is likely to meet at 5 pm today. In addition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to meet the Council of Ministers at 7 pm. President Ram Nath Kovind administered the oath of office and secrecy to 43 seats at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday, including 36 new ministers and promoting seven sitting Ministers of State to the Cabinet. 15 leaders were sworn in as Cabinet and 28 as Ministers of State.

With the expansion of the Cabinet, many Ministers were discharged and portfolios of many were also changed. Mansukh Mandaviya was given the responsibility of Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers and Kiren Rijiju as Law Ministry in addition to Ministry of Health, while Dharmendra Pradhan has been made Education Minister and Jyotiraditya Scindia as Civil Aviation Minister.
