JR NTR remembers grandfather Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao's 26th death anniversary

On the twenty-sixth anniversary of his grandpa's death, Jr NTR sent a heartfelt tribute to his grandfather, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Following a heart attack, the iconic actor passed away on January 18, 1996.
On the occasion, Jr NTR took to Twitter to write him a Telugu note.

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao made a significant contribution to Indian cinema. The iconic actor Kapoor has appeared in over 300 Telugu films over his long playing career, as well as directing and producing his own films. Sr NTR has received several prizes for his outstanding onscreen performances, including three National Film Awards, two Rashtrapai Awards, one Nandi Award, and one Filmfare Award. In 2068, he received the Padma Shri Award, and in 1978, he received an Honorary Doctorate from Andhra University.

 

Jr NTR is  awaiting the release of RRR, his upcoming period action drama. The film was scheduled to hit theatres on January 7, 2022, but was postponed due to the coronavirus. The new release date has yet to be announced. RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by DVV Entertainments, also stars Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt.
