Chandigarh: A judicial magistrate was killed in a road accident in Chandigarh early today, while one has been seriously injured. In this accident, it is learned that JMIC Sahil Singla posted in Pathankot was riding in a car with his GMIC partner from Punjab. Suddenly the judges' car collided with the sign board on the road. After this, the injured were rushed to PGI Chandigarh, where doctors declared Sahil Singla dead.

According to the information received, Sahil Singla, son of social worker Pradeep Singla of town Dhuri in Sangrur district, was posted as a first-class judicial magistrate in Pathankot for the last 3 years. His wife is also a judge. Sahil was also going to be transferred in this march. Today, at around 3 am, 31-year-old Sahil was in Chandigarh with his fellow judicial magistrate Pahul Preet Singh on an Innova car from Sector-22 towards Night Food Street. Then this painful accident happened. Sahil Singla was driving this car.

Talking about this entire accident, his car suddenly went uncontrolled near Sector 16/23 dividing road and hit the sign board of the sector. After which both the judicial magistrates were injured in the accident, after which they both hurriedly reached PGI Chandigarh in the second car behind. The doctors there declared Sahil Singla dead. Pahul Preet Singh has been shifted to Fortis Hospital.
