New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has adjourned the hearing on a petition filed by Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla against a fine of Rs 20 lakh imposed on her. Juhi Chawla along with 2 others had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against the 5G mobile network, which the court dismissed and imposed a fine of Rs 20 lakh on the petitioners.

Justice Sanjeev Narula, who heard the case, has also distanced himself from the case and asked another bench to transfer the case. The case will now be heard by the second bench on July 29. Earlier last week, Justice JR Midha rejected Juhi Chawla's appeal and ordered the petitioners to pay a fine of Rs 20 lakh imposed on her at the earliest. The court had also granted a week's grace for the same though Juhi Chawla is yet to pay a fine of Rs 20 lakh.

The Delhi High Court on June 4 dismissed Chawla's plea challenging 5G wireless network technology and slapped a fine of Rs 20 lakh on him and fellow petitioners. The court had said that the petition was filed to get the loopholes, misuse of legal process and publicity.
