Get ready for an eventful July 2023 as banks are gearing up for an extensive lineup of holidays. Throughout the month, you can enjoy a total of fifteen days when banks will be closed. These include not only the second and fourth Saturdays but also Sundays, in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar. It's worth noting that eight holidays fall under the Holidays Under Negotiable Instruments Act, while the rest are designated as weekend leaves. However, don't fret as banks will be open on the first and third Saturdays of every month.

As you plan your schedule, keep in mind that some of these bank holidays will be specific to certain states, while others will be celebrated nationwide. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has categorized the holidays into three brackets: Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act, Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Banks' Closing of Accounts.

Although the bank branches will be closed on these designated days, you can still rely on mobile and internet banking to carry out your transactions seamlessly. Enjoy the convenience of online modes even when the physical branches are offline.
