New Delhi: Indian shooters have excelled at the Junior ISSF World Championships being held in Peru. Manu Bhaker, who missed out on a medal in Tokyo Olympics, won the gold medal. In this event, 16-year-old Isha Singh also won a silver medal with a stellar performance.

Men's Rudranksh Patil clinched the silver medal in the men's 10m air rifle event on Wednesday. India's women's skate shooter Ganimat Sekhon won a silver medal at the ISSF Junior World Championships. Patil scored 250.0 points in the eight-shooter final and trailed Tokyo Olympics medallist William Shner in the US.

Ramita won the bronze medal with 229.1 points in the women's 10m air rifle. Mehuli Ghosh finished fifth and Nisha Kanwar eighth. India's Naveen finished fourth, Sarabjot Singh sixth and Vijayveer Sidhu eighth in the men's 10m air pistol. In the men's skate, none of India's Rajveer Gill, Abhay Singh Sekhon and Ayush Rudraraju made it to the final.
