Hyderabad: Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) visited the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and other departments on Friday to assess various development projects. The authorities have been told to finish the monsoon season plan.
KTR talked about the flood mitigation measures that need to be implemented and urged that the GHMC and the Water Board collaborate on flood avoidance measures. He enquired about the Water Board's numerous development programmes, particularly the infrastructure development projects.
This meeting evaluated the actions of other departments, according to an official, who said that the minister also inquired about the Musi River Development Corporation's activity. The source said, the Minister also reviewed the progress of the construction of link roads in Hyderabad, the strategic canal development programme, and the construction of Hyderabad highways.
KTR also had a review meeting at the Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited office in Telangana's Nanakramguda.
