Bollywood film director Sanjay Gupta says his 25-year career has seen ups and downs, but he feels happy to look back and see that he has overcome all the difficult situations.

Gupta, who has been famous for his powerful films such as Kante, 'Musafir', 'Jinda' and 'Shootout' series and 'Kabil', was successful when he was preparing to say goodbye to the industry due to difficult days and started the directorial shift from 'Atish: Feel The Fire' about 25 years ago. The film included actors like Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Aditya Pancholi.

Gupta recently told PTI in an interview that it was an easy film and I worked with most of my friends. I'm thankful to Sanju because he doesn't make big films without a star. After the 'Kaante' film, his relationship with Sanjay Dutt came to a distance and the impact was on his career.

The director further said Dutt never refused to work with anyone, although people around the actor told others that Gupta would not be working with him. He further said that it was a very difficult time and I had conceded defeat.
