Kabul: The Afghanistan administration has imposed a lockdown in the capital Kabul for a period of at least three weeks from Saturday in view of the growing case of Corona in the country. According to Tolo News, the lockdown has been implemented on Friday evening after the Ministry of Public Health informed about 15 new cases of coronavirus in the country.

Of these, 11 cases have been reported from Herat, three from Farah and one from Ghazni. The total number of cases of infection increased to 110. The ministry said two foreign diplomats and four service members of NATO's Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan are among the Corona-infected cases in the country. So far three deaths in Afghanistan have occurred due to infection with the coronavirus. Kabul Governor Mohammad Yakub Hydari announced the lockdown on Friday, saying that all residents should stay at home, avoid unnecessary activities and avoid standing in groups.

He said that residents should be prepared to provide valid reasons for eviction, such as health or safety. He said that orders have been given to keep all the sports places, wedding halls, shrines and public places closed.
