In 2014, despite all conditions favourable, the Bharatiya Janata Party had denied its Lok Sabha ticket by assuring its veteran Kailash Joshi as Governor. Joshi could not become Governor but Captain Singh Solanki became the Governor. Now Prabhat Jha's hopes are raised. Governor is to be appointed in some states and after two terms of Rajya Sabha, Jha is in the queue. Jha would have become Chief Minister many years ago if Soni had just walked.
