Kolkata: BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya's big statement has surfaced after the BJP's crushing defeat in four seats in the West Bengal Assembly By-election and the victory of the Trinamool Congress (TMC). On the occasion of Dhanteras on Tuesday, Dhanteras was celebrated by selling groceries by performing regular puja at their ancestral grocery store in Nanda Nagar, Indore. Kailash also attacked Mamata Banerjee on the occasion.

TMC candidates have won four assembly seats in Dinhata, Shantipur, Gosaba and Khardah. Talking to the media, Kailash Vijayvargiya described the BJP's nationwide lead in the by-election as a symbol of victory and said that the farmers of the country are with Modiji and NDA and the same is with Shivrajji in the state.  Comparing Mamata Banerjee's TMC government to Islam, Kailash Vijayvargiya said that with the same dictatorial attitude, TMC in West Bengal is joining BJP leaders with them on the basis of swords.

At the same time, he said Mamata Banerjee has joined the list of leaders of the country who do not trust democracy. As a result, false cases are being registered against BJP leaders and workers in West Bengal. He said 120 criminal cases have been registered against BJP MP from West Bengal Arjun Singh while 20 cases have been registered against him himself. This gives an idea of how Mamata Banerjee is running the government.
