Central Library of Kakatia Institute of Technology and Science Warangal (KITSW) is organizing the 53rd National Library Week. National Library Week is celebrated in India from 14th to 20th November every year. After the ceremony was launched at the Institute on Tuesday, Principal Professor K Ashokreddy asked the students to utilise the library facilities provided by the Institute. "Spending more time in the library will increase the knowledge of various kinds of knowledge in the technical field," he says and suggests to library staff to provide better services to students. He also released a brochure on library information on this occasion.
Kits librarian Dr K Indrasena Reddy said management is providing new library facilities like digital library and subscribes to reputed online national and international magazines. There are 81,935 books with 15,770 titles and 6022 e-books and 50,866 online journals library. Keeping in mind the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, we have also provided remote access for the benefit of students and faculty," he said.
