Lucknow: A sensational case of shaming the sacred relationship of father and daughter has come to light from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. A father has been accused of raping his two daughters in Kanpur's Kakadev area. The girls do not have a mother, so the father was threatening the minor girls for a long time and carrying out the heinous incident of raping them.
On Wednesday, when the aunts of the girls reached to meet them, the victims wept and told the whole incident. Based on the complaint given by the aunt, the Kakadev police arrested the accused father. Let us inform that in the last one month alone, more than half a dozen cases of rape and molestation of minor girls have come to the fore in Kanpur. Even in many cases the police have been accused of committing violence against minor girls.
The police of Nababganj police station is accused of torturing the mother of the minor girl accused of theft in such a way that she committed suicide on May 9 at the Government Asha Jyoti Kendra. Earlier, a girl from Cantt area had lodged an FIR for molestation on the nephews of former Congress MLA Suhail Ansari. Seeing these incidents, it is clear that the incidents of crime against girls have increased suddenly in Kanpur and the police is not able to curb the criminals.
